My father always makes sure we have bananas available at home so I got used to eating at least one banana “finger” a day.

What are the common benefits of eating banana?
Bananas contain vitamin C, B6, and potassium. It is said that banana helps reduce the risk of colorectal cancer, breast cancer and renal cell carcinoma. If properly prepared, it can also help treat kidney stones and high blood pressure. It also contains folic acid wherein its naturally occurring form, Folate, helps prevent anemia during pregnancy and also prevent congenital malformation.

Banana also contains dietary fibers which aids in digestion and may be useful for people who want to lose weight the natural way.

There are other ways to use banana as beauty regimen or health supplement. But whether you’re pregnant or just trying to stay beautiful, banana should always be included in your daily diet.
